Elementary Music and Art
At Winona ISD, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore the world through creativity and self-expression. Our Elementary Fine Arts program serves students in Pre-K through 5th grade, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
Students participate in:
Music during the fall semester, where they learn the basics of rhythm, melody, singing, and musical movement in a fun and engaging environment.
Art during the spring semester, where they explore color, shape, line, and texture through hands-on projects that spark imagination and creativity.
These weekly classes give students the chance to discover their talents, express their ideas, and begin building the skills they’ll carry into middle and high school Fine Arts programs.
At Winona Elementary, we’re proud to introduce our youngest Wildcats to the joy and value of the arts from the very beginning.
